Reading Response #4

Dear Marjane,
I would like tell you that it has been a wonderful experience reading your book. I think it has been really nice of you to share everything you have gone through your childhood. From reading this book I have learn about different belief's in Iran, some which I was not even aware off. This book has made me value more the freedom, and privileges that I have in my country, because I've realize that countries like Iran do not give their people enough liberty to enjoy their lives. I feel it is not easy to live in a time period where there's a revolution and people cannot express their opinions and belief's. I really admire the bravery and courage you have had, to overcome all this problems in your life. I also like the fact that you have always stand for your ideas and opinions disregarding what others say. I would like to know what perspective do you have of life after all you have gone through? I hope that you never change and that you keep being the same optimistic and brave girl that you are now.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Cornejo
