Dear Author,
For the past weeks i have been reading this book of yours "Persepolis" and I honestly think is a great book! I have enjoyed the entire book and the fact that in every page I read, something always makes me stop and ask myself questions that make me wonder so much of what went on during the Iranian revolution. Its so amazing to me that Marji as a simple ten year old has so much to say and think about the happenings. It also impresses me and again makes me wonder and ask questions to myself on how many things are so much similar to what is going on now with the war we have at hand and all. This book has made me realize that we take many things for granted! Now being at war we technically dont even feel as we are since it has not really affected us except with our economy and when I compare our time of war to the time of war during the revolution I see that we take many things for granted since we are not right in the middle of the war and are not being as affected as others are or were being right in the middle of the battle field and all. I have truly enjoyed learning from a book like this that makes me think and analyze the situation. Hope you continue writing such great books as "Persepolis"and thank you for a wonderful book.
Sincerely, Ingrid Martinez
