Dear Madam: Satrapi

First of all I want to thank you for writing the graphic novel “Persepolis” because by reading this book my understanding about the real history of the Iranian people has increased. I enjoyed reading the fist part and I can’t wait to read Persepolis 2. While reading the first book I learned many things about the history of the people from Iran and their powerful, unique, and well deserved culture. At the same time, I noticed that Iran was an important target for the develop countries for its oil richness. In addition, I become able to understand the ambitious of rich countries over Iran, and the way they tried to accomplished their purpose, it upsets me because those countries didn’t care the life of the people, and that they just wanted to satisfy their pockets. This book is special for me because it was written by a person that suffered the results of the bad decisions made by a corrupt government. Further, this book shows the other face of the history of the Iranians that most worlds don’t know, and that the stereotypes about these innocent people are wrong and unfair. Once again thank you for writing this great book, I think that this book can change the mentality of many people by the original way it was designed.
