Reading Response # 4

Dear Marjane Satrapi,

Reading your book has taught me many things about Iran. I had a little bit of knowledge about how things went on over there in Iran. I have learned things that have made me understand what goes on and what went on ,and how people do not know. Your book can be said to be a guide for people who want to learn about Iran's history. The introduction is one of the major parts of the book in where we learn about Iran's past. The intro section will let people understand the book in a much better way. Living over there in Iran must have been really hard especially due to the fact that it was always strict over there. In some ways we can relate that we have both seen violence right in front of us, which happens in the streets all the time. My question to you is how did you overcome every obstacle that was thrown at you later on as you grew older?

Sincerely,
Edward M. Gonzalez
