Persepolis

Dear Marjane Satrapi,
Reading your book has made me realized so many things. I did not know that people in Iran would treat each other differently just because of their social class. I would have thought that people would treat each other equally. I noticed that people cannot really live their lives how they want like here in the United States. They have to follow certain rules like for example the girls have to wear the veils. They are really strict with their rules and I do not see how people can actually live like that. Freedom is something everyone should have and should not be taken away or ristricted by anyone. I hope that one day the government realizes what they are doing to their own people, ristricting them from their freedom. One question I would like to ask you would be, when did you know that it was time for you to leave your own country?
